Dear Fredericka, Robin, and George:
I wanted to send you a quick note to tell you about Great Expectations AKA Hardy.
(Excaliber-Daybreak in Denver- June 1998) Honestly, it is hard to put in words how I feel about Hardy. I am so blessed to have Hardy in my life. I have had horses my whole life and have loved each and every one of them. Hardy, however, is my horse of a lifetime. He always gives me 100%. He and I have total trust in each other. I take care of him and he takes care of me...that's the deal!!!!
I have been eventing Hardy at novice level for (4) years. He has done very well...usually in the ribbons. He is a beautiful mover with natural cadence and suspension in his trot. His canter is to die for....so balanced and up. He could be competitive as a dressage horse if I wanted to go that route. He is a wonderful jumper and dead honest. It just doesn't occur to him to stop...he just loves to jump, especially cross country. When we are waiting to go XC, his ears perk up and he watches the horses before him go out of the box. He just can't wait till his turn. I almost always have a smile on my face in the pictures from the events because we are having so much fun together. We are moving up to training in 2007. It is long overdo as he is hardly challenged by novice anymore.
He is always a favorite wherever we go as he is just so strikingly beautiful. Everyone wants a Hardy. His personality is just too cute. He is so smart too. His favorite treats are Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies....his ears and mouth just start twitching around when he hears the plastic wrap... too cute.
Hope all is well with you all.

P.S. I am attaching some photo's of us eventing. Let me know that you got them. Thx.
